One of our favorite clients returned to ESTABLISHMENT with an exciting renovation request—an opportunity to completely gut and revamp their apartment to create a fully upgraded interior for modern living. A special focus for this project was to curate the client's extensive art collection, as well as their vast assortment of shoes and clothing. We set to work redesigning the layout to ensure functional living spaces that foster an open and airy feeling, while also providing breathtaking ocean vistas from every part of the apartment. A clever use of built-in cupboards was implemented as the main form of partition between rooms, providing privacy for the main bedroom and en-suite, while still maintaining an interleading flow between the library and the main living areas. The design embraced a sophisticated aesthetic with timber floors throughout, enhanced by handmade tile inlays in the kitchen. Gentle color tones were chosen for the main areas, with a striking pink kitchen acting as a bold statement jewel that captivates the eye. The combination of existing and new furniture promotes a timeless, effortless interior that reflects the client's personality and taste. Our thoughtful approach to lighting enhanced the mood in every space, creating much-loved areas that are both functional and inviting. The result is a stunning modern haven that harmoniously blends style, comfort, and art, making it a perfect reflection of our client’s lifestyle.
