Queens Road Sea Point
This compact bachelor apartment was designed to feel calm, open and quietly luxurious, despite its limited footprint. With the entire façade opening through floor-to-ceiling glazing, natural light became the defining feature of the space — softening the architecture and expanding the interior beyond its scale.
A mezzanine level allows the apartment to function with clarity and purpose, separating rest from living while maintaining an overall sense of openness. The palette was intentionally kept tonal and understated: layered whites, warm neutrals and tactile finishes create a feeling of ease throughout.
Every element was carefully considered to maximise both comfort and flow. The living area centres around a singular curved sofa, creating softness against the clean architectural lines, while the bedroom was stripped back to only what was necessary — allowing the bed itself to become the focal point.
The bathroom, though compact, was approached with the same attention to proportion, materiality and light, resulting in a space that feels refined rather than confined.
An apartment designed not around excess, but around balance, simplicity and the luxury of thoughtful living.
